Miss Stephanie has studied dance since the age of three. She has won numerous awards
regionally and nationally including Miss Junior, Miss Teen and Dancer of the Year. At the age of twelve, she was awarded a full scholarship to the Broadway Dance Center by Mr. Frank Hatchett, renowned
teacher/choreographer. Stephanie recently performed with the dance troupe, "Street", in Philadelphia, PA. Stephanie has attended Broadway Dance Center's newest convention, "The Pulse", including a Master Class
taught by Mia Michaels.
Stephanie annually attends Dance Masters of America and Broadway Dance Center workshops and conventions to further her dance education. This summer, Stephanie is attending a Teachers Convention in NYC. Stephanie has taught at HYDS for six years.
A SUNY Binghamton graduate in Psychobiology and Russian Studies, Stephanie holds two BA degrees, with
a minor in International Relations. She recently attended the prestigious Moscow State University during summer of 02'. While in Russia, Stephanie took class from the Moscow State Youth Ballet and was selected as a
guest instructor. Stephanie went on to complete her Master's Degree in Eastern and Central European Studies at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. During the summer of 2006, Stephanie received a full
scholarship from the Kosciuszko Foundation to complete her Master's thesis in Krakow, Poland.
She now teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. Miss Stephanie has brought the country's newest dance
craze to the studio (Hip Hop) and has received 'rave revues' for her efforts.
As a former student of Miss Helene and Miss Michele, Stephanie credits her success thus far to having
received "the best" in dance education. Miss Stephanie is 26 years old.
